Johnson County Recreation District (JCRD)
January 14, 2025
Board Members Present:

The meeting of the Johnson County Recreation Board (JCRD) was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Jack Tarter at the Johnson County School District #1 in Buffalo, WY 82834

It was moved by George and seconded by Mike to approve the agenda. It was moved by Marcia and seconded by George to approve the minutes of the November minutes.

There were no community members present.

Jack presented the financial report. It was moved by Lisa and seconded by Dustin to accept the monthly financials as presented.

Meeting dates for 2025 were set as follows:

February 11, 2025 March 2022 – no meeting
April 8, 2025 May 6, 2022 – Kaycee
May 7, 2025 May 8, 2025
June 10, 2025 July 2022 – no meeting
August 12, 2025 Kaycee September 9, 2025
October 14, 2025 November 11, 2025
December 2025 – no meeting January 10, 2023

It was moved by Lisa and seconded by Marcia to set the grant deadline date on April 18h at 5:00 p.m.

Election of officers was held. George made a motion and Marcia seconded to unanimously elect the following officers:


Jack Tarter President
Mike Miller Vice-President
Lisa Griffith Secretary
TJ Tavegie Treasurer

It was moved by George and seconded by Dustin to approve the following claims:

Buffalo Golf Course $20,000.00
JCSD #1 Bowling $ 3,200.00

There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned.
